UDL is a learning program designed to help teachers plan
curriculum's that will be accessible to all students regardless of their
abilities. By planning and designing a universal curriculum all students can
gain. Teachers must provide students with multiple representations of the
lesson. Using multiple ways of representing the lesson can help students of
various strengths learn. Additionally, teachers should provide students with
multiple activities to be able to express what they know. Using various
different activities students can express their understanding in multiple ways
depending on their ability. Finally, engagement, students will vary in what
will interest them and stimulate them therefore teachers should try to provide
them with multiple ways of engagement to get them into the lesson in their own
way.
